Marte de Jager
As descendant of Vincent van Goghs brother Theo, Marte de Jager (1998) was exposed to art from a young age. During her studies, she discovered the possibilities of text as a means of expression and developed a deep passion for everything related to writing and language.
A sustained interest in diverse cultures and human experiences forms the common thread in her work, shaped by the impressions and encounters from her many travels. Through her writing, she explores cultural traditions and practices, creating space for new perspectives and self-reflection.
Marte writes for a wide range of projects, from travelogues to children’s books, using her knowledge of language and culture to make stories accessible.
