Lotte Wieringa
Lotte Wieringa’s paintings transpose bodily presence and mark making, in fields of colour. Scribbles and patches depict a field of improvisation on canvas. The visual language hovers between annotation and abstraction, traces of a direct dialogue with the medium and the materials used.
