Mihael Milunović’s multidisciplinary practice spans painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, video, performance and installation. His work examines perception, confusion and the fragile boundary between lived experience and realities constructed through images. Recent works engage questions of identity in a post-human, hyper-mediated condition, and explore how social environment, education and psychological habits shape what we recognise as real.
Born in Belgrade in 1967, Milunović grew up in an artistic family. In October 2026, he had participated in more than 150 international exhibitions, including over 60 solo exhibitions—five in museums—and more than 90 group exhibitions, over one third in museum institutions.
He lives and works between Paris and Belgrade, and participated in the last edition of Art Basel Paris.
